It helps to include your app version, which is shown at the bottom of the Settings screen in the app. Emailing through Settings → Email Support fills that in for you.
Frequently asked questions
What does this app do?
It describes every station on the TTC subway and light rail network: entrances, levels, platform layouts, elevators and escalators, accessible alternatives when an elevator is out, hours, parking, bike facilities, and connecting routes. It is built to be used with VoiceOver.
Are my notes private?
Yes. Notes are stored on your device and synced through your own iCloud account. They are never sent to us, and we have no way to read them. See the privacy page for details.
How do I get my notes on another device?
Sign in to the same iCloud account on both devices. Notes sync automatically. On a brand-new device they may take a few moments to appear after the first launch.
Can I share my notes with someone else?
Yes, in two ways. Share as Text sends a readable copy, for someone who just wants to read it. Export produces a file the app can import, which merges the notes into the recipient's own. Importing never replaces anything: your notes stay, theirs are added, and anything already present is skipped.
A station says its details are unavailable. Why?
Station information is gathered from the TTC's own website. If a page changes or is temporarily unavailable, a station can end up with little or no detail. Please report it — these are worth fixing.
I hid a section and want it back.
Sections can be turned back on in Settings. There is also a button on any station screen, shown whenever something is hidden, that restores them either everywhere or just for that station.
Is the station information official?
No. This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Toronto Transit Commission. Information is compiled from publicly available TTC sources and may be out of date or incomplete. For service changes, elevator outages, and anything time-sensitive, check ttc.ca directly.
Accessibility
This app is designed for VoiceOver first, not adapted for it afterwards. If something reads poorly, is hard to reach, or behaves unexpectedly with a screen reader, that is a bug worth reporting — please describe what you heard and what you expected.
